This original oil painting was created during the pandemic, from an original reference photo I took while visiting an Elephant rescue and conservation centre in Chiang Mai.  I was so saddened to hear that the centre was struggling to stay afloat with the lack of tourism in lockdown, and decided to create this painting to help.  The full sale amount of £195 was donated to Patara, which I hope was some small help to keeping these beautiful and gentle giants safe for more years to come.
