I absolutely love hedgehogs, with their sweet nature, snuffly noses, and distinctive, highly specialised coat, which carries around 6,000 individual spines, this artwork was a joy to create.  They have changed little in the last 15 million years, which makes their move in June last year, as now being vulnerable to extinction on the conservation red list, all the more heartbreaking.
